A leading dealer in household electrical appliances, Somovision has given out numerous gifts worth million of cedis to contestants in the Ghana edition of the “Exquisite Face of the Universe” pageant show.

Apart from cash reward for the winners, the company gave the contestants including the top three winners free home appliances.

Alberta Nana Adwoa Arhin who emerged winner to represent Ghana at next year’s International Exquisite Face of the Universe pageant show in February 2008, received a fridge and ¢10 million cheque from Somovision.

The first runner-up, Nana Yaa Adadewa Addo received an LG television while the second runner-up
had a DVD player.

Pallav Rastogi, Senior Manager of Somovision who presented the items to the contestants, congratulated them and indicated that the support was the company’s widow’s mite to ensure the event was successful.

1st Royale Event Limited, organizers of the pageant, expressed their gratitude to Somovision for the support and just like Oliver Twist, asked for more, saying “we will count on your support in the international event”.
