It was lights and camera action last weekend as one of the most fashionable events to hit the country returned.
The month of March saw the exciting launch of the Exopa Model Agency and last weekend was a continuation of the star-studded event.
Unlike the first show, the recent one was a four-day package, titled the “First Ever Exopa Fashion Week”. Being a week of fashion, colour and style, events kicked off with a live show that took place on Thursday September 27 at TV3 Studio B.
The show featured elegant international and local models (who satisfied the stunned audience with enough eye candy) parading the runway in outfits made by international and local designers from outlets such as NaLLem and Runway Clothing.
The special thing about Exopa is that they have sales once every month, so whatever you saw on the models during the catwalk can be bought during the next sales, which begins right after the show.
So if you saw anything on a model that you think would look much better on you (wink), just contact the Exopa office off the Burma Camp road.
The Exopa live show was hosted by Blakofe and featured a surprise performance from Ebo, who did his hit single “Once twice”.
The fun continued the next day with an official after-party at the Bliss night club in Adabraka, where guests and models “leaned with it and rocked with it”.
Highlights for the rest of the week included a special model club night at the Barcadis Club at Tema and climaxed with a football gala involving Exopa, Joy fm, Metro TV, TV3 and MTN, with Exopa taking the cup home while TV3 took the second place.
