The city sounded better last week Friday when Citi 97.3 fm, the new best radio station in West Africa and Africa interactive/ Talk Show of the Year, based in Accra precisely in Adabraka celebrated her three years of dominance in the radio industry.

The event which took place at the premises of the station was a cocktail party organized by the station to express gratitude to her corperate clientele for their loyal and faithfulness to the station over the period.

By 7:30pm, all was set for the begging of the soirée as invited guest and august personalities were led in prayers by Brother Emmanuel the host of "Gospel Unlimited" a program on the station. With wine and meat flowing, it was a perfect party for a chilled out weekend. It was a great night as everyone makes it a point to be there and the cocktails and wine just flow.

The event was witnessed by a high profile government delegation which included Minster of States, Deputy Ministers, Lawyers, Rev Ministers of God and Chief Executive Officers.

In her speech, the Minister of State in Charge of Sports and Education, Ms. Elizabeth Ohene, commended Citi Fm, for her education of the public and its vibrant presenters. Mr. Nik Amarteifio the CEO of the station, on his part congratulated all the workers of the station for a their team work saying" on behalf of the board I will like to congratulate you for a good work done"

The managing Director of Citi Fm Mr. Samuel Atta Mensah also commended all staff for their dedication, hardwork and motivation. He assured all that in the coming years the Citi will sound refresher than as it is now, as he kept the audience laughing throughout his remarks.
